Jordan Wells, a native to the Memphis area, received his bachelor's in Music from Middle Tennessee State and is currently working on his Masters in Music from the University of Memphis. Along with his deeply rooted passion in Music Ministry, Jordan is an active performer and director in the Memphis area, having music-directed productions at Germantown Community Theater and Harrell Theatre in Collierville, Tennessee. Jordan is also a multi-OHSM nominated music director for his work with multiple high schools such as Bartlett High School, Arlington High School, and St. Benedict at Auburndale. Jordan’s performing credits include productions with Opera Memphis, Theatre Memphis, and DeSoto Family Theatre, where he was nominated Best Actor in Thoroughly Modern Millie. Jordan’s professional debut was a featured role in Nashville Opera’s World Premiere of the Grammy Award Winning opera Elmer Gantry. Jordan most recently made his professional tenor debut as Rodolfo in Red River Lyric’s production of La Boheme. Jordan has been involved in music ministry as a musician, singer, and director for almost 20 years. He recently served as Associate Minister of Music at First Congregational Church. He enjoys traveling, farm life, and wonderful food with his wife Jessica and his two boys Finneas and Luke.
